l have two rainsticks that are twenty years old.One is 32 inches tall, 6

was stained dark oak by the maker (l suppose)l hate the stain and wanna

strip it off but how, and should I?My favorite one (the cactus) l just
want or wonder if l should clean it and if so, how? or should l just oil
it with something to preserve it.Both are used mostly for decoration and
sometime just to hear the sound.Is there anyone out here with a rainstick
this old?My home can get pretty humid and dry at times.Thanks!

I think that bamboo is so porous that it will not strip well.

Try using a natural stripper like that orange one if you want to possibly

lighten it up but don't be surprised if the results aren't uniform.
